A.T. – News and Announcements

PARENTS, COACHES, STUDENT-ATHLETES:

Welcome back to ACP athletics! Thank you for being so patient during these last few months while we were away! We are excited to be back on campus working with coaches, admin, and athletes again!

For summer athletic camps and practice, Amy will be on campus during select open clinic hours for appointment visits only. Please refer to the AT calendar for updated times. You can schedule an appointment using our Google Appointment Calendar located on our page or by clicking this link.

If you schedule an appointment outside of your on-campus practice time, please make sure to check in through the main office to follow current safety and screening procedures. When arriving to the athletic training room, you will be asked to wash or sanitize your hands. You do not need to wear a mask, but athletic training staff will be wearing masks for your protection. Only 1 athlete will be allowed in the athletic training room during an appointment slot to ensure social distancing. We have also enhanced our cleaning procedures following the CUSD COVID-19 protocols. If you would like more information on what we are doing to minimize the spread of COVID-19, please contact Amy.

Remember to take care of yourself as you return to athletics. Drink plenty of water throughout the day; eat healthy and nutritious food; stretch before and after practices; and make sure you’re getting plenty of sleep at night to promote recovery. Continue practicing social distancing and adhere to all CDC health and safety guidelines as the pandemic is currently ongoing. Dignity Health has a page that is updated frequently with information regarding COVID-19 that you may find by clicking here.

As we receive information from school and hospital officials, we will continue to update our information for you regarding pre-participation physical examinations, Athletic Training Room clinic hours, and other sports medicine related events. At this time, OSPI walk-in clinic hours remain closed. All visits to Dr. Clouse or OSPI providers will require an appointment. If you identify yourself as a high school athlete from ACP during your scheduling, they will fit you into their schedule as soon as possible.

For any additional information/questions/concerns, please contact Amy via email. Take care! — Amy Patrick, MS, AT, ATC
